MFA alert

Beginning April 5, Pioneer Bank will be enabling Multi-Factor Authentication for our customers. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a critical security feature in the banking industry that adds an extra layer of protection to your account(s). It requires users to provide two or more types of identification factors, such as a password, a fingerprint, or a one-time code, to access their accounts. MFA helps prevent unauthorized access to bank accounts, mitigating the risk of identity theft, fraud, and financial losses. In today’s digital age, where cybercrime is rampant, MFA is essential to ensure the security and integrity of banking systems and protect customers’ confidential information.
