Pioneer Bank recently promoted six Team Members to Universal Bankers. These employees studied very hard and worked diligently to prove their knowledge of all of Pioneer Bank’s products. Now, when you visit any one of our Universal Bankers they can help you with opening an account, investing in a CD, getting a consumer or mortgage loan – pretty much anything you need. To top it off, they are all amazing at customer service. Their goal is to provide you with the most innovative products – quickly – while helping you meet your financial goals.
These Team Members also collaborate in an open environment, share feedback and perform as integrated team members to be sure our customers are well taken care of. We are so proud of them and are grateful they choose to be a part of the Pioneer Bank family!
We have four Team Members from Las Cruces that earned this promotion: Melody Parra, Assistant Vice President/Retail Banking Manager; Renaye Medina, Assistant Vice President/Retail Banking Supervisor; Karissa Doan, Assistant Vice President/Teller Supervisor; and Andrew Martinez, Retail Banking Supervisor.
“Melody is such an amazing role model, mentor and leader in Las Cruces,” stated Denise Wilson, Vice President/Retail Banking. “She is so professional and helpful with our customers, and always with a smile on her face. We are so glad to have her as a leader of Team Pioneer. She has been an integral part of our growth since 1992, when she joined Team Pioneer.”
“Renaye has been with Pioneer Bank since May 2005,” says Melody Parra. “She represents Pioneer Bank in a friendly professional manner with her outstanding customer service. Renaye is involved in the community and is currently a board member for Crime Stoppers. She is grateful to work for a community oriented bank that is like a family.”
“Karissa has been with Pioneer Bank since July 2007,” stated Melody Parra. “She is the Consumer Loan Officer for Las Cruces. She represents Pioneer Bank in an outstanding manner with her involvement in the community through the Chamber of Commerce and the Conquistadores. In 2017 Karissa won Pioneer Bank’s ‘Employee Of The Year’. She is grateful to work for a community bank that allows her to be involved in the community and give back.”
“Andrew has been with Pioneer Bank since May 2015,” said Melody Parra. “He was recently promoted to the Retail Banking Supervisor at the Las Cruces Lohman Branch. He represents Pioneer Bank in a friendly professional manner with his outstanding customer service. Andrew is grateful to work for a community bank he says his job is to make sure his customer’s leaves with a smile on their face.”
In Alamogordo we promoted Vanessa Velasco, Retail Banking Supervisor. “Vanessa has been with Pioneer Bank since 2015,” stated Kim Wing, Assistant Branch Manager. “She is outgoing and always willing to go the extra mile for her customers and team members. Her wonderful customer service skills allowed her the ability to be both a Teller and CSR. Vanessa’s continued dedication to training made it possible for her to become the first employee to earn the CSR III/Teller III certification. When the notification went out for the first Universal Banker Class, Vanessa was quick to sign up. I am very proud of Vanessa. Pioneer Bank is very fortunate to have such a dedicated employee.”
Brandi Candelaria, Retail Banking Supervisor in Carlsbad also earned her Universal Banker Certificate. “Brandi is one of those employees you want on your team,” stated Ericka Laney, Vice President/Branch Manager. “She is dedicated to getting things done and giving the best service possible. Her work ethic is something to brag about. She is a very hard worker and so helpful to the staff and customers. Brandi has worked tirelessly with the new staff in getting them hired and trained well. Brandi is one of the most dependable employees I have ever had the privilege to work with. This lady is one you want in your corner, such a wonderful person and team player and we at the Carlsbad branch are so very proud of her. Congratulations Brandi on becoming a Universal Banker!!”
