The State of New Mexico has deemed banking an ‘essential service’.  Pioneer Bank would like to let our customers know that although we are taking steps to protect our Team Members and the public from COVID-19, we are not planning on closing our branches.  We will continue to offer our services through our extended drive-thru hours, but highly encourage customers to use Internet/Mobile banking.  Pioneer Bank will “continue to adapt” to the changing coronavirus situation and encourages customers to utilize the tools available on the Pioneer Bank mobile app and at pioneerbnk.com. You can pay other people money through Zelle, pay bills online, make deposits in our ITM’s – virtually everything you need to do in banking can be done without actually visiting a branch.

We also have extended our Call Center hours to better serve you with your banking needs.  If you are unable to complete your transactions with the previously mentioned methods, please call us at 575-624-5200, Monday-Friday; 7 a.m.-6 p.m. or Saturday 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

In its latest guidance for customers (FAQs for Bank Customers, Updated March 20), the FDIC reminds customers that the safest place for their money to be at a time like this (or basically any time) is in an FDIC-insured bank, and that their banks will provide other ways to access it.

  • Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
  • Cough or sneeze into the inside of your elbow.
