Phishing is an online attempt to solicit your personal information. Beware of official looking sites that can appear to be legitimate, but are not. One way to prevent this is to not click on links in your email, but type the known address in your web browser.
Pioneer bank has three legitimate web sites: pioneerbnk.com, referpioneerbnk.com and corporateloans.pioneerbnk.
If you are ever asked to log in to a different site, it is most likely a phishing attempt to gain your login information.
