Cashier’s check scams are on the rise and there have been reports of some using fraudulent checks from Pioneer Bank.
To verify the authenticity of a check you have received, please call 575-624-5200. If there is a phone number on the check, do not call it.
If you deposit a fraudulent check, you could be liable for the funds.
